Originally graduating with a BA Hons in Jewellery Technology from Leeds University, Iain has recently joined Kelvin College, where he spent much of his time as an apprentice, as a jewellery technician.

In this role he cares for the equipment, constantly staying abreast of the rapid technological developments in the field and works alongside students to help them to realise the full potential of their individual projects.

He is as interested in the process of jewellery manufacture as he is in the outcome. Relishing the concentration and focus required to consistently produce many identical pieces or links – which only ring true when they are all united. Truly a labour of love.

From his workshops in the west-end of Glasgow, Iain hand finishes all of his pieces and works together with fellow artists and artisans in the creation of stunning exclusive items.
