Ball & Chain 1

A very simple figure of eight wire twist repeated creates a sinuous necklace which sits beautifully around the neck. This time using alternating large and small balls for added interest.

Based on a simple wire twist into a figure of eight, linked together, and capped with a variety of different sized balls. This piece was inspired by an Anni & Bent Knuddsen open-ended necklace made from individual units, each ending in a loop that engages its neighbour.

The collar sits perfectly around the neck, framing the head. The shape of this piece alters with movement of the shoulder blades, a tense posture results in the balls rising like hackles, relaxed shoulders allows the balls to rest naturally.

Once again comprising repeating patterns these are sensual pieces conforming and moulding to the body – they are light and comfortable yet the wearer is inherently conscious of their presence.
