Pylon Ring
The pylon was my favourite piece from my degree show and deliberately extreme.
Developing on from the Steg and oval I turned the shape so it fits across the finger and set saphires at the ends.
Another expression of the Pin and String pattern. This time trying to create a sharp edge along the top.
In this expression I was trying out another mesh pattern by splitting the frame in two which fills in the sides of the ring
Creates the impression of water flowing while also giving a feeling of movement.
This range was named as the model was built in half sections which resembled a Cuttlefish.
